NO7 CLEANSING BRUSH AND CLEANSERS

Hey everyone! Where is Summer?! I got soaked on Friday during my lunch break and when leaving work. Thanks Glasgow! Thanks.

Anyway, I've been wanting to try out Electric cleansing brushes for some time. I mean, who doesn't want brighter, cleaner skin? But I never knew how I would like it - so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I searched the net - and I was originally about to buy a Magitone, but I noticed that Boots had their own electric cleansing brush which was on sale at the time for £25! So on the way home from my mums I decided to stop off at Glasgow Fort and pick it up.

I tried the tester first on the back of my hand to see how it would feel - it was soft and worked well. So I decided to pick it up as well as the 2 cleansers it is recommended to be used with - even better No7 had a 3 for 2 offer on which was perfect for me.

The cleansing brush has 2 speed settings - so you can build up the speed once you get used to using it. It takes 2 batteries which isn't always ideal but I've used rechargeable batteries for mine so its not so bad. The fact that it is battery powered does mean that the brush is not waterproof so you can't use it in the shower under running water. But I still use it in the shower - just away from the running water.
If you press to hard on your skin it stops working to prevent any damage to the skin! The head comes off so you can clean it which is fab!

As for the cleansers - I prefer to use the foaming cleanser with the brush. I just like the feel better than the Gel one. I still use the gel one every now and then with the brush but I tend to use the gel cleanser on its own.

Whenever I use the brush I always like to check the brush afterwards and see how dirty it is. Occasionally it is pretty yellow/orange where it's really scrubbed my face and neck clean of any left over or stained foundation. I just pop some cleanser on the brush and manually rub the head against the palm of my hand and clean it like I would with makeup brushes.
I use the brush either once or twice a week depending on how much makeup I've been wearing that week. It really has made such a difference - my skin is glowing! It looks a lot brighter and cleaner - I have had zero breakouts since using it and honestly my skin has never felt softer. I love this brush!
