MY MAKEUP STORAGE
After moving out and buying myself a vanity table from Argos, with the vouchers my brother gave me, I felt the need to buy proper storage for my endless collection of makeup. The clear acrylic boxes have always appealed to me, and I have stopped myself from buying Muji drawers on countless occasions. But no more was I going to stop myself! Eek!
I was scouring EBay to see if there was anything worthwhile on it instead of ordering from Muji or The Original Beauty Box. And as always, I found what I was looking for, and all decently priced too!
Now this doesn't store all of my makeup, just the stuff I tend to use most often, and a little bit more. I have the rest stored in the drawers of my vanity table.
Excuse the overuse of overlays. I got a little bit carried away hehe.
First is my 24 lipstick holder, which I completely adore. I of course own way more than just 24 lipsticks, but the rest are in my handbags by default. The holder is raised so you can see the lipsticks more clearly. Its perfect! And only £2.60 from here.
I then decided I needed something to store all of my brushes. I really should have cleaned them before taking shots but this post was kind of spontaneous! It has two slots to fit copious brushes and then a slot at the front which I've used to store perfume and a foundation. Its really simple and great to use. Again this was cheap to buy, it was only £3 when I bought it but is a couple more pounds expensive now, but nothing that would break the bank! Check it out here.
This is probably my favourite! Simply as its not just the drawers, it has a removable top part also to hold items in. It can hold brushes, lipsticks and other bits and bobs you need everyday! The drawers aren't that deep, but they do for me. They actually fit everything I use, except palettes, so its not too bad. This was a little bit more expensive at £21.99, but it was delivered within days as it was from London. So it was totally worth it! There are lots of variations of this product; more drawers, less drawers... Check it out here.
